Who am I watching on YouTube right now?

Who am I watching on YouTube?

Thats a good question, it suddenly occurred to me that theres people out there who might be kept awake at night pondering this very question. Who the heck is Vik watching right now? Who's she loving? Who can’t she get enough of? Hahahahaha! The day I believe this is true is the day the cows will come home, pigs will fly and I get my acceptance letter to Hogwarts! A girl can dream!
But because for no other reason than I want to I'm going to divulge my favourite YouTubers for your reading pleasure!

First and foremost, my YouTube obsession is Evan Edinger! I realise saying obsession makes me sound like a creepy psycho stalker, I'm really not, I just cant get enough of his travel vlogs in particular. I'm so jealous of people who can travel all the time and while I just have to watch his travel vlogs, they also make me sad because I'm too poor to travel! I have never wanted to visit Japan before I watched his vlogs from his recent trip there but now I have to go. I also need a drone in my life because of this man, damn you Evan! You don't even know I exist yet you're having a profound effect on my bank balance!
What drew me in with his main channel was his British vs US videos, I love these videos in general but Evan makes them better with his crappy puns and awkward humour!
I actually met Even at London Comicon last year and made a total fool out of myself, I wrote about it in my first ever blog post! But I'm gong to Summer in the City with my good friend Ellis this year so hopefully I wont look like such a tool next time!

Of course my beautiful and talented awesome buddy Ellis Woolley is up there with Evan, me and Ellis met at work and now I don't work there anymore we find it difficult meeting up regularly because of clashing work rotas and things so being able to watch her YouTube channel means I can sort of see her without seeing her. She cracks me up and blows me away with her incredible talent. She runs an etsy shop called llama talks and often shows us sneak peeks of her latest designs. She also reviews lots of incredible small companies and has opened my eyes about being more aware of buying cruelty free products and supporting small businesses. She is also a naughty little minx on a spree of Primark hauls at the mo and this lady is a bad influence on me in that shop haha sorry Ellis! I rarely leave a Primark shop without lots of new goodies when this enabler is by my side!! God I love this girl!

I am loving Thatcherjoe aka Joe Sugg right now. His prank videos are hilarious! I also love the relationship he has with his sister, Zoella! It reminds me of me and my brother! I also love his style! I have a bit of a thing about mens fashion and he is killing it right now! I swear down when I get a bf he must like his girl to dress him! Moving on! Joe is just a funny person, and always seems to be having fun and they are the kind of videos I love to watch. I have fun seeing others having fun and I feel I click with his sense of humour. My favourite video recently was actually with his sister, they were looking back at toys they used to own growing up and me and my brother had so many of the same toys, I'm a year older than Zoe and my brother the same age as Joe so it was like me and my brother had stepped into their shoes for that video!
Also, he's quite the dish to look at!

Another regular watch of mine is velvetgh0st aka Gabby (hope I spelt that right!) she is so down to earth and has a fab sense of humour. It was actually Ellis that got me into Gabby. And I'm glad she did! I love watching her vlogs about her fitness journey at the mo, I can relate darling! I'm trying to get fit myself! I also love that she spreads the love for less well known YouTubers, I've found a few amazing talents from her that I would never have found before! She also has the most gorgeous cat I've ever seen!

Some other YouTubers I keep up with are Cherry Wallis, she is my go to for all things magical in the wizarding world! If I ever need a Harry Potter or Fantastic Beasts fix I head straight to her channel.
The Mandeville Sisters. These girls crack me up! They feed off each other so well and come out with some funny stuff! They do a weekly vlog series too and I love watching what they get up to!
Pointlessblog, YouTube King to the Queen, Zoella! I am a nosey person, which I think is why I like watching vlogs, so when I'm feeling particularly nosey I head to Alfie's daily vlogging channel! Just to snoop into someone else's life really! He gives me that chance. Plus I also have hair envy with Zoe so I get to see some of that gorgeousness too! The newest person I'm getting into is Leah Turner. She's a right hoot! Really enjoying getting into her videos at the mo!

So there you have it, some of the peeps I'm watching on YouTube at the mo.

Let me know who you're watching, and send me any suggestions.

Thanks for reading!

My top 3 TV shows of all time!

With just having finished binge watching an amazing show, and another series I adore is approaching its finale I thought it was about time I share my top 3 favourite TV shows!
I love watching a good TV show, I love leaving reality and joining a new world, immersing myself in the story of the characters and I can get really engrossed! There will be a shit tonne of spoilers in this post so if you plan on watching any of them, read this AFTER you've seen them!

Drum roll to reveal my top 3 favourite everrrrrr! ……. Being Human, Bones, Dexter!

Now without further ado lets get on with it!

I have literally this minute just finished binge watching Being Human on Netflix. The UK version obviously! The US version just doesn't compare! This is a show I have watched over and over again, and is the only British show in my top 3. It starts with Annie, a ghost, haunting her empty home in Bristol, when George, a werewolf, and Mitchell, a vampire move in. This begins the story of their friendship, love, loss and struggles and quest to being a part of humanity. The first season unfolds with Annie finding out the circumstances of her death, Mitchell struggling with the classic vampire blood lust and George learning to live with the wolf inside him. George is by far my favourite character of the whole series! Russell Tovey is a brilliant actor and I love all of Georges little quirks! He is a little socially awkward, can easily embarrass himself, but his personality is endearing and he cares deeply for the people he loves. I can relate to a lot of his traits so this is why I gravitate towards his character.
The first season ends with a huge cliffhanger, involving a new addition to their supernatural trio.
The next couple of seasons involve the threesome, along with Georges girlfriend, Nina, who he accidentally passed on his curse to, in their battle with religious weirdos, psychotic scientists, Mitchell majorly falling off the wagon, a move to Barry in Wales, a werewolf pregnancy, a new love story, a torturing prophecy, ultimately ending in a heartbreaking goodbye to Mitchell.
In the meantime, two new characters were introduced, Tom and McNair, father and son, both werewolves. Tom ends up moving in with Annie at the start of season 4 after it begins with George, a broken vessel of the man he used to be, grieving at the loss of his beloved Nina. Killed by vampires. I still find it a shock that 3 of the 4 main characters between the end of season 3 and the start of season 4 are all killed off. If Mitchell dying doesn't have you an emotional wreck, then Georges ultimate sacrifice to save his daughter will. Little did Annie and Tom know, they were now the carers of the war child, a human baby, born from werewolf parents, destined to wipe out the vampire race and bring a stop to the chaos they bring. This plot introduces another trio, Hal, Leo and Pearl, vampire, werewolf and ghost to visit the war child, and ultimately to add Hal to complete the new trinity after Leo dies and Pearl passes on with him. Just when you think they couldn't change the trio any longer Annie completes her unfinished business, and passes over, with Eve, the war child.
To fill Annie's spot as resident ghost, Alex is introduced. A tomboyish Scottish girl. The main plot in the final season is the rise of the devil, and our new trio learning to live together, and building up friendships. Hal is in effect a 500 year old vampire and struggles more than anyone we've seen on the show before with keeping his bloody cravings in check. The final episode builds to a dramatic conclusion where the 3 of them must sacrifice themselves to kill the devil. But after they've completed the ritual they all awake to find themselves human. The show ends with the 3 of them sharing a cuppa on the sofa guessing the prices of the tat found on Antiques Roadshow! The ending tugs at my heart strings, as it pans across the room to the mantle piece showing an item that represents each friend who has passed over, George, Annie, Mitchell, Nina, Eve, McNair. A fitting reminder of where the story began and a beautiful conclusion to the friendships and loves that were created out of the chaos around them.
I much prefer the first few seasons of the show, I loved the banter between Mitchell, George and Annie, the typical British comedy element, although the storyline was dark and terrible, I felt somehow the last couple of seasons lead themselves more to the drama and darkness and less to the comedy that the first few seasons saw. Also while writing this I realised that explaining all the changes to the cast seemed crazy! But while watching it, it works, you never think bloody hell someone else is gone, now who will they replace them with, the storyline all flows naturally and each character is introduced brilliantly.
With this being a series I return to over and over there is no doubt that this has to be in my top 3 TV shows of all time! I love it! I love the characters, especially George! And I only wish I had a George of my own!

Another show I am obsessed with is Bones. And I'm devastated that it is ending after this season. I feel like I am part of the Jeffersonian team solving crimes along with them and when it ends I genuinely think I will grieve the loss of my favourite show! The basic plot follows Dr Temperance Brennan, aka Bones, along with her expert team, and FBI agent partner solving crimes in Washington DC. The general gist of an episode begins with a gory discovery of a mutilated body, body part, or skeleton, those remains are then analysed on scene, taken back to the lab, where the team get to work discovering who the remains are, how they were killed and who did it. The team changes from time to time with various interns of Dr Brennan but the self proclaimed head of the team is Brennan. She is a dedicated, highly skilled, somewhat big headed forensic anthropologist. She regularly claims she is the expert in her field, and often pushes her interns to be more like her! I love Brennan, she is a strong, confident, intelligent woman and is the ideal role model for any young woman. Her partner, both in work and home is FBI Special Agent Seely Booth. He used to be a sniper for the military, and has the best hand in the land! Throughout the show he has had to put his skilled and steady hand to the test on numerous occasions. He has a heart of gold and would give his life to save the ones he loves. Booth has a few partners throughout the show, including Dr Lance Sweets, an FBI Profiler, and Special Agent James Aubrey, who must have worms, he is always eating and thinking about his stomach!
Back to the lab we have the actual head of the team, Dr Camille Saroyan. An extremely professional coroner who deals with all things flesh and organs! She is often found telling off Dr Jack Hodgens, the resident “bug, slime and dirt” guy for conducting experiments resulting in a lot of mess, noise, or evacuations of the lab! His wife Angela Montenegro, also Brennan's best friend, is actually an artist, but her job is to give the remains a face, and she is also mad skilled with all things technology and computers and is often the one of the team which death and murder regularly affects. She is a warm hearted, spirited woman and I love her!
Along with the usual plot of an episode, there have been various stories ongoing throughout a number of episodes. The most memorable for me are The Grave Digger, who would bury people alive, ask their families for money in exchange for the location of their loved ones, Christopher Pelant, a crazy genius with an obsession for Brennan, and Gormogon, a weird secret society thing I still don't think I understand properly, which kill and eat people and use their bones to make a complete skeleton. Weird right?! One of our beloved interns, Dr Zack Addy got tied up in this and ended up in a secure facility bless him.
Obviously there is so much more to say about Bones. But I’ll be here for days! I honestly think this show is gripping and had inspired me to learn more and sparked an interest in forensics, obviously I know TV and real life are completely different but I really have found it a genuine interest and have been researching different roles for possible career paths within forensics because of this show.

Dexter is a weird show for me. I was instantly hooked from the first episode, I’ve introduced this show to lots of people and most of them can’t get into it at all. Others have taken a while to get into it but once they do they're hooked! Maybe this is because Dexter is such an awkward person, and because we get to explore his internal dialogue while watching the show we get an insight into some of the things people think, but don't say or do. So even though Dexter is a murderer, he is relatable on so many levels! Maybe this is what freaks people out, how can you relate to a murderer?
Dexter is a Blood Spatter Analyst for Miami Metro Homicide. He is also a serial killer. He uses his work to find criminals who have fallen through the cracks of the legal system, does his research to make sure they are guilty of their crimes, prepares his kill room, and then carries out the deed.
Dexter was born into blood, his mother, murdered in a container where he was sat in her blood for days before being found by Harry, a cop, who adopts him into his family. He quickly realises Dexter is not normal, and has this need to kill. Thinking it is the best thing for him, he teaches Dexter a code that will allow him to kill and not get caught. This code is a series of rules he must obey and follow, such as only targeting murderers, child molesters and the like. This code keeps him safe so he can carry on killing. It also tells him to try and blend in with society, having friends, a girlfriend, kids, his sister, colleagues makes him look normal and not suspicious. But he soon realises that he can feel feelings, and he can care for people. He was told his entire life he is basically a psychopath, but he isn't, because he cares for people around him.
There are 8 seasons of Dexter, some better than others, but all pretty damn good! Each season has a running theme through it, whether that be another serial killer drawing Dexter in, Dexter hunting down notorious mass murderers, someone close to him finding out his secret. The plots that stand out to me the most are season 1, The Ice Truck Killer who leaves Dexter body parts in places from his past which ultimately leads to Dexter finding out who this killer is and that he is not the only one who was born in blood.
Season 4, probably the best season, with Dexter hunting the Trinity Killer. He moves all around the county ritualistically killing in 3’s. Dexter attempts to track him down and get him on his table but the Trinity Killer is one step ahead, leading to a shocking and heartbreaking emotional end to the season.
And the final season, despite the worst ending to a series ever, rounded up the show well, I don't want to completely spoil it, but someone we know and love dies, again another emotional goodbye to someone we cant live without. I’m left at the end knowing that everything has been tied up, I know what Dexter will be doing, I know what his family and friends will be doing and although I hate that one of them is missing, life will go on.
Dexter is a character that you hate to love, because everything tells you you cant love a murderer, and yet you do. The internal narration you hear throughout the show is brilliant, because we get to hear what Dexter really thinks, before he actually says the “right” thing. Dexters sister, Deborah, is hilarious with some of the things she comes out with, its almost like she has verbal diarrhoea! And she has a mouth fouler than all the guys in the precinct put together! She also works for Miami Metro homicide, unknowingly at one point, hunting her own brother!
Dexter is also a show I have watched over and over again, some seasons more than others but ultimately I recommend this show to anyone!

So there you have it, my top 3 TV shows ever! Let me know if you share my favourites or can suggest any new shows I may love, I’m always on the look out for new series to get lost in!

First time using a menstrual cup!

I've been psyching myself up to make the move from tampons and pads to a menstrual cup for months now and because I’ll be due my period smack bang in the middle of my holiday in June and I do not want the faff of tampons while I'm there I needed to get a move on to practice with my cup of choice, the Mooncup.

Mooncup is a UK company that provides a menstrual cup in two sizes, A for over 30’s and women who have given birth vaginally, and size B, under 30 and no vaginal birth. Thats me!

Long story short, my period came and in popped the cup! You can fold it two ways, the c fold or punch down fold, I personally found the punch fold easier. But I noticed this period I was quite crampy, I'm lucky in that I don't really get cramps at all, and even though I couldn’t feel the cup inside, I was very aware that it was there. I also had a heck of a job trying to get the sucker out! Day two and the cramps became too much and I had to give up and switch back to tampons.

Disheartened that I'm a menstrual cup failure I decided to get in touch with the friendly people at Mooncup for advice. I spoke to two lovely ladies, Martha and Sophia, who asked me a lot of questions to try and find out why I would be reacting to the cup in this way. After I gave them the info they needed they explained why the cup is possibly a little big for me. They also offered me a full refund as a goodwill gesture which I wasn't expecting.

Overall I am disappointed I cant support a UK company with their amazing product. Their customer service was the best I've ever received and I urge anyone with any questions or seeking advice about their Mooncup to get in touch. I instantly felt at ease talking about something quite personal.

I have not given up with menstrual cups, I have been having a look around at the many different cups out there and think I have settled on trying the Me Luna small classic cup. As the Mooncup is a little big for me the Me Luna is slightly smaller it must be worth a try.

If you're thinking about trying a menstrual cup, just do it, even though I had a fairly rough experience with one I am in no way put off trying another one, I really do think they are the future to reduce the amount of disposable towels and tampons to landfill.

I also want to say that just because I didn't get on with the Mooncup doesn't mean you wont, every woman’s vagina is different and what works for one may not for another.

Here is a link to Bree’s YouTube channel, she talks about all things alternative menstrual products so take a look if you are thinking about making the switch to a menstrual cup or reusable pads.

Jewellery box: First Impressions.

A friend brought me a bracelet from Jewellery box for a christmas pressie and I loved it so when I was needing to replace some rather old grubby earrings, I turned straight to Jewellery box!

I have 3 lobe piercings, all quite close together so I never wear studs bigger than 2mm when I wear more than one earring.
I had a browse through their range of 2mm studs and settled on two, the sterling silver 2mm ball studs and the other a black cz 2mm round stud . I love that they feel like such quality but are really affordable. At £3.05 and £3.55 for great quality sterling silver studs I feel they are worth every penny.

I have toyed with the idea for a while about trying some 1mm stud earrings, thinking that the 3 together would look super dainty! So I had to order myself a pair to try, also sterling silver they cost £2.95. Sadly though they just go straight through my first holes and look a little like they are being buried in my second and third, but again they are super quality and I will definitely wear them, just need to be careful that they don't end up being sucked into my earlobes!

I ordered some teeny tiny hoops too, again sterling silver, 8mm in size, I have yet to get these into my ears! No fault of the product at all, its just they are a little fiddly because of the size and I've never used hoops before! Again no fault of the product because I knew what size I was ordering and wouldn't want to go any bigger, I just need some hoop putting in practice!

Each item came adorably packaged, safely contained in a small plastic sleeve, with the branded envelope, perfect for a gift. There was even a hand written thank you on the order information which adds that personal touch that makes you feel a valued customer.

I will definitely order from jewellery box again, more tiny earrings aaand maybe a bit of everything else!

Head over to their website and have a good look around.

Panasonic TZ70 Review.

I’ve been on the lookout for a small but mighty camera to not replace my DSLR totally but as something I can carry with me conveniently all the time. After months of thinking about it, researching different cameras, numerous trips to Currys and Jessops to fondle a few different cameras I finally settled on the panasonic TZ70.

I had written a list of things I wanted from a compact:
Small and lightweight
Good manual options
A bloody good zoom
Copes well in low lighting
The capacity to shoot in raw
Something that covers all bases in regards to types of photography I would be doing.

So with this list in mind the TZ70 checked them all. I must admit I've had this camera going on nearly a year and I am in love!
I take it with me on day trips, holidays, and use it at home too to capture my crazy dogs and I have used it for some of my blog photos.
The first thing I noticed is how flipping easy this camera is to use. Obviously if you shoot in auto mode its as easy as turning the dial to auto and off you go, but it is super easy to set in manual too. I had narrowed my search down to this camera and a Canon but I just couldn't get on with setting the Canon in manual. I am a Nikon DSLR user so maybe this is why but I am so glad I got the TZ70! Even on auto the photos are super impressive.

This model has a 12.1 megapixel high sensitivity MOS sensor, which enables better shots in low light, and it really does deliver. I recently used my TZ70 to get some snaps from the Strictly Live Tour, I was literally sat back row and I was really impressed with the shots I got in low light and with fast moving subjects. The pictures aren't perfect and I never expected them to be, to get good shots from that distance you'd need some bloody good equipment, but for a compact I was extremely impressed.

Now I’ve just touched on this, but the zoom on this camera is mind boggling! It has a 30x optical zoom and handles really well in stabilising a shot against unstable hands at full zoom. To show you how impressive this zoom is here is a wide angle shot, can you see the wind turbines way out in the sea there? With full zoom, here they are!

I needed a camera that could shoot in raw so when it came to editing and correcting boo boos I had greater options post production. I must admit I haven’t given my raw shots taken on this camera the full shebang on photoshop or lightroom because I suck at editing! But as I get better I will have more of a play.

One other thing I didn't think about at the time which I am now super grateful for is the live viewfinder you can fall back on if you cant see the screen in bright lights. Quite a few times Ive had to just shoot and hope for the best that I capture everything I wanted in the shot but now you can use the viewfinder! Genius!

I also absolutely love the way this camera looks, it has a slight vintage look about it and I like to be carrying round something that I like the look of, vein I know, but a sexy camera makes me excited to carry it around with me everywhere and get that shot!

The only downside I have found is it has a fairly short battery life. I shoot in raw most of the time so this will add to that but I have had to buy another battery to carry with me because when I get carried away snapping on a day out I easily drain the battery. Not the end of the world as I always carry a spare everything with my DSLR so an extra battery is nothing!

Overall this is a smashing little camera. I can’t think of any negatives besides the short battery life that I have come across. I am only an amateur photographer and I am confident that an experienced photographer will find more problems with it than I have but for what I use it for and for the price (£299, although I got mine with a cash back offer) I don’t think many people can go wrong choosing this camera. For a total novice it will improve their picture quality, and for an amateur enthusiast it will give you enough to play around with without limiting you in your capabilities.

Happy snapping!

Makeup vs bare face: a look at our relationship with makeup.

Lets talk make up. Rather the lack of. A naked face, bare face, whatever you want to call it. I am allergic to a lot of make up, and when I do wear make up for an interview, parties, days out I always suffer with eczema that takes me months to clear up. For this reason, most of the time I wear my naked face with pride.

But recently I've been feeling a little inadequate, less of a woman, less professional because I dare to leave the house with no make up on. People don't know that I am allergic to makeup, but I am still judged. How is this acceptable? I was refused a job a year ago purely because the person hiring me expected me to have a full face of makeup on at interview, and I didn't. I wasn't professional enough! Wtf! Forgetting the reason I wasn't wearing makeup this struck a cord with me, women are expected to wear makeup no matter what.

As I get more active in discovering new blogs and youtube channels I realise blogosphere is full of make up tutorials and product reviews, I am guilty of this myself, but this post is no means a bash at the beautiful people who write about this stuff, I mean I read and watch it for a reason! I love seeing people expressing their creativity with make up and sharing that with us all. I love that they are passionate about wearing make up and exploring new looks and creating art. I totally appreciate why beauty bloggers do this. But in reading more posts and seeing all the different looks and products out there I made myself feel ashamed because I can’t wear all these lovely things. Its difficult when people in the spotlight are routinely covering up a freckle, dark circles, a spot, a skin condition, to not think that it must be right to cover these things up, and that its shameful to have them on show. Its like being brainwashed that make up is the norm and to rock a bare face is sacrilege. But why should I feel this way? I've been bare faced 99% of my life and never let it get to me. I'm still figuring this out.

There seems to be so much pressure out there at the moment that its expected that us girlies should have make up on. When did this become acceptable?! Because am I alone in thinking this is ludicrous?! Teens these days have enough pressure on them, and I hate to think that make up is now such a part of life that kids will get bullied for not slapping a face on before they go to school or college or go out with their friends, its wrong! But its not just teens, I am 28 and I have had my confidence knocked because I leave my house with a bare face most of the time.

I’m not trying to create some big movement here where I'm telling people to ditch the make up and go bare faced! Far from it! What I am trying to say is its ok to not wear make up. Its also ok to wear make up. Whats not ok is thinking you have to wear make up, feeling pressured into wearing make up, equally feeling pressured not to wear make up. It is disgusting that people think that a bare faced woman is unprofessional and the misconception that a bare face means you don't take care of yourself is utter bullshit and this needs to stop! Us ladies need to make sure we support each other no matter what our make up choices may be and stand together to help every woman feel confident in their own skin.
Here is my totally naked face! Love it, loathe it, I don't care!

Feb Favourites.

Feb Faves!

I haven't done a faves post since November!! I didn't really have much to rave about in December and January but February has been a month full of goodies and swishy stuff!

Theres a lot in here so get comfy and lets get the show on the road!

My biggest fave, quite literally, is I got a new bed frame for my birthday! I turned 28 on the 11th and my parents knew how excited I was about finishing my bedroom makeover that they surprised me with my awesome new bed frame. I love love love it and finally my bedroom is finished and looking fine!

I have had a lot going on in the family recently, I’m not going to go into it in detail because its not my place but I lost a family member at christmas and nearly lost another this month from cancer. Macmillan have been an amazing support system. Their website is packed full of everything you need and their email service which I used to have some questions answered was faultless. A bit of a weird favourite but I really don't think I’d be coping so well without them so they need a shout out.

Avene skincare has been a godsend this month. With the allergy season beginning I am already suffering both sneezy wise and skin wise! Avene really soothes my skin and helps to control the flare ups I am having on my face, I am using a mix of products from their Tolerance range and sensitive range, including their micellar water.

I have discovered tea without milk this month and literally have no idea why I’ve been butchering tea in the past by adding milk! Its so much nicer without! I don’t very often drink hot drinks but I have been having a cup of black tea almost every day this month. Yummy yum yum!

I’ve been reading a book this month, shocker because I’ve never finished a book in my life! Relationship selling is a book that from the outside looks like it will improve the skills of sales people, but its so much more than that. I have never, and will never work in sales but I’ve read this book and come away with so much enthusiasm and motivation to get my shit together and do all the things I’ve been meaning to do! It can also help you to learn new skills generally no matter what career you work in so make sure you get a copy from Amazon!

Netflix has had some great shows and films on recently, and I've spent most of my tv time on Netflix over Sky and have binge watched The Fresh Prince of Bel Air! Such a great show, I watched it growing up and to watch it all again as an adult was brilliant seeing things I missed and didn't quite understand when I was a lot younger! Will Smith is such am amazing actor, but I suspect a lot of what went into Fresh Prince was his effervescent personality! And I didn't realise how much I missed seeing the Carlton dance! If you haven't seen it, see it! Now!
I’m a huge fan of anything David Attenborough and there has been so many of his shows on Netflix at the moment I’m in heaven! My fave being Blue Planet, I nearly popped with excitement when the BBC announced Blue Planet 2!!
I absolutely love a good action film. Probably my top film genre alongside Disney! Netflix currently has both Olympus and London Has Fallen and I'm not kidding you in the space of a month I've probably watched each film at least twice! I don’t know how but they make such a farfetched plot of one man against hundreds of baddies seem like it could actually happen! When I’ve finished watching one of these films it makes me want to go out and single handedly defend the world from scumbags!

An unlikely love of mine this month was the programme Tales from the coast with Robson Green. I probably wouldn't know who this guy was if it wasn't for my Dad. We would watch his Extreme Fishing programmes on a Sunday and I have grown to find him hilarious and a little crazy yet throughly enjoyable to watch on tv. I love how stunning the British coast is and I’ve realised from watching this programme how little of it I have seen and I have decided a few road trips around the country are in order!

And last but not least… Creme eggs. Need I say more!
